The World of Rock ‘n’ Roll

It is 1973 in San Diego and fifteen-year-old William aspires to become a rock journalist. A journalist impressed by William’s writing assigns him to review a concert, after which several follow for Rolling Stone magazine. When he has to go on the road with an up-and-coming band, William soon finds himself belonging to the inner circle of the band. He loses his objectivity in his writing. Will he make it in the world he always dreamed of and find his way in the rock world?

Celebration of Music

Almost Famous on Broadway is based on the film of the same name, written and directed by Cameron Crowe. Featuring music written by Tom Kitt, who won a Pulitzer Prize for his earlier work and wrote music for Jagged Little Pill, among others. The music reflects the chaotic spirit of the 70s and is a love letter to this unique time.
