The costs of the Sightseeing Flex Pass
You have the freedom to choose the number of attractions and tours to include on your Sightseeing Flex Pass. Children 2 years old and under do not need a pass and for kids from 3 up to and including 12 years old, there’s a special reduced price. You save at least 40% on entrance fees with this pass, compared to buying individual tickets.

What can you see and do with the Sightseeing Flex Pass?
Buy a Sightseeing Flex Pass for 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 10 or 12 attractions. Then you have 60 days to visit the attractions that you choose. Create your own itinerary by choosing your favourites from a list of over 100 attractions and tours! Find the full list here.
For example, choose the Hop on Hop off Bus: a 1-day ticket for the Uptown and Downtown routes counts as one attraction. You can board right away by showing your pass at the first stop of the route.
With the Sightseeing Flex Pass, you can visit the Empire State Building, Top of the Rock, take a sightseeing cruise and go to the American Museum of Natural History, for example. Observation decks Edge and One World Observatory are also in the pass. Other options in the pass include bike tours and bike rentals – there’s even an option with electric bikes and scooters. You can also opt for a lunch. In addition, the Sightseeing Pass is the only discount pass with a transfer from one of the New York airports to Manhattan.
9/11 Museum
As the 9/11 Museum is not included in this pass, you can buy a ticket with time slot separately. This will allow you to visit the museum at your preferred time, ensuring entry and preventing your schedule from getting bogged down by long queues at New York's busiest attraction. Discounted Helicopter Flight with Flex Pass
When you purchase your Flex Pass, it is possible to add a helicopter flight over Manhattan for US$199. This price is in addition to the price you pay for the Sightseeing Flex Pass. The helicopter flight also includes all fees, making it a very good deal instead of booking your helicopter flight separately.
In the confirmation email, you will find a code for your Flex Pass and a separate code for your helicopter flight. Follow the steps in the mail to secure your helicopter flight. Do this in time to be sure of a spot.
How does the Sightseeing Flex Pass work?
Purchase the New York Sightseeing Flex Pass easily online, before you travel. You’ll receive a voucher with a QR-code, which is your pass. You can show it at the attractions, on your phone, to get in. I recommend printing the pass as well, so you have a paper copy, just in case. You can also download a digital guide. It contains information on the tours and attractions and tells you how to use the pass at each one.
There’s no need to decide beforehand which attractions to visit, just decide what you want to do when you’re in New York. So, maximum flexibility for a minimum price! A change of plans?
