- 200 section: My favourite! See the sections marked in red below. These seats are great and good value for money. Cheap Knicks tickets are between US$50 and $120. Rows: the lower the number, the better the seating, so try and get tickets for row 14 or lower.
- 100 section: Great, if you are not seated behind a pole. Try and get seats in the middle. Cheap tickets in this section are US$200-$250.

How do I get to Madison Square Garden?
Madison Square Garden is easy to reach from anywhere in New York. The main entrance is on 8th Avenue between 31st and 32nd Streets, but there are other entrances as well.
You can get there by subway ACE1 and exit at 32nd Street.
And if you can walk, take BDRNQand exit at Herald Square (32nd Street).
When do I need to be at the stadium?
I would suggest arriving 30 – 60 minutes in advance.
After the Game
After the game, you can easily continue your evening anywhere in Manhattan. Taxies will line up in front of Madison Square Garden, and all subways will still be running.

The New York Knicks are going all out for the NBA championship! Last season, they reached the semifinals, something that hadn’t happened since 2000. For the 2025-2026 season, they’ve managed to keep the team largely together, while also adding some reinforcements. I hope this will be the year the New York Knicks become NBA champions again!
When you go to a New York Knicks game, it can be fun to know which players to watch out for. In my opinion, this only adds to the experience!
Star Players
- Jalen Brunson, #11: The most important and best player of the New York Knicks. He averages 26 points per game, which is very high, putting him in the NBA’s top 10! He’s also the captain; sometimes called “Cap” or “King of New York.” Brunson is invaluable to the team. He could have received almost double the salary from the Knicks, but decided to give it up so a stronger team could be built.
- Karl Anthony Towns, #32: The literal big man of the Knicks. He’s important in rebounds (catching balls near the basket), but he can also score and make three-pointers. These are points scored from behind the semicircle on the court. This is something not many big men can do. His nicknames are “KAT,” an abbreviation of his full name, or “Bodega KAT,” due to his Dominican heritage and the numerous Dominican bodegas (delis) in New York. Towns averaged 25 points per game last season.
Important Players
- Mikal Bridges, #25: There’s a good chance you’ll see Bridges in action at a New York Knicks game: he never misses one. Since the beginning of his career in 2018, he has played in ALL the games! This gives him the record for the most consecutive games played. He’s also important for scoring points.
- OG Anunoby, #8: This player is a quiet force! Not a flashy player, but no less important because of that. Anunoby is important both defensively and for scoring points on offense. And he’s from the UK!
- Josh Hart, #3: Sometimes Hart starts or begins from the bench, but this player is always super important for the team! He’s the engine of the squad and always brings the energy with him. For an NBA player, he’s not very tall at 1.93m (6’4″), but he grabs more rebounds than many taller players.
Bench Players Who Can Provide a Spark
- Miles “Deuce” McBride, #2: A fan favourite of the New York Knicks! The fans shout DEUCE when he comes onto the floor or scores. Sometimes this sounds like BOO, but it’s actually positive encouragement! He brings the necessary points from the bench!
- Jordan Clarkson, #00: The new acquisition this season, he came from the Utah Jazz, where he averaged 16 points per game. He can definitely contribute more points from the bench!
