Buying New York Yankees Tickets
When buying Yankees tickets, choose the date you’d like to visit a baseball game or view the table below. The tickets can be paid for by credit card. Sometimes the tickets are more expensive than face value. This means that the New York Yankees match is sold out, so increased demand increases the prices.

Where Should I sit at a Yankees Game?
Tickets for the New York Yankees can cost anything between $10 and a few thousand dollars, depending on the opponent and your seat. A reasonable price for a good seat at Yankee Stadium costs somewhere in the region of US$35 and US$105.
The Yankee Stadium is huge. To have a good view, I recommend choosing seats within the areas that I have marked in red on the plan below.
- Good view of the game (sections 214-221, 314-321, 414-421)
Most of the action takes place on the right side of the field. Therefore, I recommend choosing seats to the right of the centre.
- Close to the field (100 and 200 sections)
Lower sections are closer to the field. From these seats, you have a better view of the Yankee game. Tickets in these sections are therefore more expensive, but definitely worth it if you really want to follow the match closely.
- Best rows within a section (low row numbers)
Within a section, it makes a big difference whether you are in a low or high row. For example, the highest row of the 300 section can offer almost the same view as the lowest row of the 400 section, while the price differs considerably. A useful rule of thumb: the lower the row number, the lower (and often better) the seat in the section.
- The best cheap Yankees seats (sections 414-421, rows 1,2 or 3)
If you are mainly interested in the atmosphere and the experience, I recommend choosing seats in sections 414 to 421. These are inexpensive seats, a little further away from the field, but still offer a great view. Do you have a fear of heights or difficulty seeing from a distance? If so, it is better to choose a lower section.

How to get to Yankee Stadium?
The easiest way to reach Yankee Stadium is by taking the subway. The destination stop is 161st Street, and the stadium is right across from the station. Subway lines 4Dbring you directly to Yankee Stadium from Manhattan. Both subway lines cross the whole of Manhattan more or less, so you can get on at many stops.
When Should I Arrive at the Stadium?
Try to get there around 30 to 60 minutes before the first pitch. Ideally, you’re in your seats 5 to 10 minutes before the game starts. This way you won’t miss the national anthem, which is an event in itself. Although, halfway through the 7th inning, there will be more singing.
If you arrive early, go to Monument Park, in the centre field below the video board. Here, you’ll find a memorial to former Yankees members, and have a great close-up view of the field. Entrance to Monument Park is free. It remains accessible until 45 minutes before the scheduled start time.
The Yankees sometimes hand out free gifts, which makes it even more worthwhile to get there early. You can also take a walk around the stadium and grab some food. There are all kinds of options!
How to get back to Manhattan
The subway will be the best option to get back to Manhattan after the game. Leave a little early if you are worried about the crowds.
