One World Observatory Tickets
There are two types of tickets for One World Observatory. If you are sure what time you want to visit, choose the General Admission tickets, which are also the cheapest.
If you are unsure about your planning or want to consider the weather, you can buy the Flex Tickets. This all-inclusive ticket comes with skip-the-line access, the Digital Skyline Guide (see more below), and a $15 voucher for a drink or the gift shop. You can visit the observation deck in the morning or afternoon and show up at a convenient time.
Sky Pods
The lifts at One World Observatory are called Sky Pods and can take 15 people per ride. Most noteworthy, the trip all the way to the 102nd floor only takes 47 seconds! During the ride, you can enjoy a fascinating time-lapse video depicting how the skyline of New York has developed over the years.
See Forever Theatre
After arriving on top, you will watch a 2-minute video about New York in the See Forever Theatre. Once the video is over, the screen is lifted, and you are in for the real treat….the New York skyline! You stay inside the whole time. On the other hand, you can visit an outside observation deck at the Empire State Building and Top of the Rock.
Digital Skyline Guide
The Digital Skyline Guide is an iPad that guides you through the city; the screen moves with you as you move from window to window. You can touch one of the labels shown on the iPad, and you’ll digitally fly there by helicopter and hear fascinating stories about each site. This feature is also included in the Skip the Line Combination ticket, which is convenient if you don’t have a lot of time and want quick and easy access to the One World Observatory.
