Christmas Markt in Bryant Park

The Christmas market in Bryant Park not only has a different name, but it’s also a little different from the Christmas markets we know. There are no traditional stalls here, but over 125 shops that resemble boutiques, hence the name “Winter Village”. The products on offer are very exquisite: jewellery, decorative items, local food and much more. There is something for everyone: young, old and even your pet! You can get pretzels, crepes and churros, among other things, as well as warm drinks. If that’s not enough for you, you can also go ice skating. The ice rink is open until 22:00, and on weekends even until midnight! The Holiday Shops at Bryant Park already open at the end of October and run until the beginning of January.

  • Season: 27 October – 2 January

Christmas Market at Grand Central Terminal

Every day, up to one million people visit the indoor Christmas market at Grand Central Terminal. Over 70 merchants offer a wide variety of goods for almost six weeks during the Christmas season. Much of it is wonderfully suitable as a Christmas gift. You’ll find clothing for young and old, handbags, jewellery, care products, toys and Christmas decorations. Unfortunately, you won’t find food and drinks here. However, the big advantage of the Christmas market is that it’s located at Grand Central Terminal. If it gets too cold for you outside, just pop in, warm-up and get some great Christmas ideas. The Holiday Market starts in mid-November and ends on Christmas Eve.

  • Season: 13 November – 24 December
  • Opening hours: Monday to Saturday 10:00 – 19:00, Sundays 11:00 – 18:00, closed on Thanksgiving
