Here Lies Love is a Filipino story performed by Filipino actors. After marrying Ferdinand Marcos, senator and future president of the Philippines, Imelda Marcos decides to be the best wife she can be for him. When Ferdinand falls ill, Imelda takes over as president, but the Filipinos are not pleased with her work. Is there anything left to salvage for her and her family?

All the chairs on the orchestra level of the Broadway Theatre have been removed, and the space has been transformed into a dance club.
