The Bateaux Lunch Cruise in New York combines sightseeing with having lunch. The Bateaux is my favourite boat to have lunch or to dine on.The sides and ceiling are made of large glass panels, offering a great view of Manhattan as you sail by. Many highlights along the skyline such as the Statue of Liberty, One World Trade Center and the Brooklyn Bridge can be seen clearly from every table.

Lunch cruise past the Statue of Liberty

Besides the large windows, the Bateaux has a number of outside decks. You have the opportunity to step outside and take a closer look at the scenery or enjoy the outside air during the two-hour long cruise. The cruise sets sail from Chelsea Piers and is good for all ages. You can therefore book the cruise for your entire family or as a romantic outing for two. While you’re treated to a three-course meal, a pianist plays an array of Broadway songs, blues and jazz tunes. The pianist shares fun facts about the sites you pass during the cruise. I have taken a number of dinner cruises and the Bateaux Dinner Cruise is my personal favourite. Have you already filled your evenings with Broadway shows, sports games and other activities?
